The Henry Street Mews is located at the intersection of two friendly neighborhoods: Cobble Hill and Carroll Gardens.  This converted factory building is actually three separate structures connected by a ground-level atrium.  One of the few elevator buildings in the area, this condominium has a full-time super and porter and video security.  Great building amenities - including a grand shared roof deck with panoramic views of Brooklyn, Manhattan, and all of New York Harbor - and welcoming, respectful residents make this a sought after building when units come onto the market.

Within one block of the doors of the Henry Street Mews are a supermarket, 24-hour deli, wine shop, dry cleaner, soda-fountain, cafe, bakery, pizza joint, and barber shop, among others.  Close to Carroll Park, Brooklyn Bridge Park, the Columbia Waterfront, shopping and dining on Court and Smith Streets, the Henry Street Mews are primarily serviced by the F & G trains, though the Downtown Brooklyn transit hubs are within easy walking distance, providing access to the A, C, 2, 3, 4, N, and R trains.

Dining/Living Room

No more squeezing around a cocktail table for meals, entertaining guests in your kitchen, or using your bed as a daytime office.  The versatile upper level living area is at the heart of the unit and can be multi-functional.  Grandly illuminated by two windows (treated with custom Hunter Douglas Luminette privacy sheers), this area also is your gateway to the private patio.  A convenient screen door on the windowed exterior rear door provides an additional light and lets in fresh air.  The interior front door leads to a foyer (where the intercom to the building entry is located) and a good-sized coat closet.  The modern chandelier is on a dimmer switch allowing you to set the perfect mood for the room.

Kitchen

The completely renovated kitchen is a chef's paradise, with exceptional counter and storage space, and top-line appliances.  The custom-built Medallion cabinetry (wood: maple, finish: sesame) includes a large pantry.  The Spanish porcelain 12x24" floor tile has a silken finish and is a dream to clean.  Under cabinet dimmer lights showcase the 1x1" glass mosaic backsplash and polished Caeserstone quartz countertop.  A pull-out kitchen faucet overlooks an oversized sunken sink.  The stainless steel appliances include a bottom-freezer refrigerator, dishwasher, gas stove range, and microwave.

Lower Level

Descending the stairs of this voluminous duplex leads you to another multi-use space.  Office, living room, play space, second sleep area, or any combination thereof, the lower level has limitless possibilities.  Four wall sconces with etched glass shades on a dimmer switch provide ambient light and the continuous hardwood floors create a warm, inviting atmosphere.   But the custom wall-to-wall built-in cabinetry is the main attraction here!  There's approximately 6.5 cubic yards of storage space - an amount of stuff that would fill a pick-up truck 3 times!  An additional closet is located in the hallway of the lower level en route to another interior door, which leads to building amenities such as the common bike storage and fitness rooms and recycling center.

Bedroom

The upper level bedroom will easily accommodate a complete furniture set and leave room to spare. A large window overlooks the sunny private patio, though the custom Hunter Douglas light-cancelling honeycomb shade will close off your sanctuary to the world when you are ready.  The in-room air conditioner and heating unit allow you to create a comfy climate for deep sleep.  The almost 10-foot ceilings extend into the large closet - perfect for stacking seasonal clothing, bedding, and other items away for later use.  The bedroom is wired for cable television (as is the lower level), though you'd never know it as all cable has been buried in walls or floorboards except for at connection points.
